Whisper Creek Log Homes has created a unique build process that combines the beauty of a handcrafted log home with the integrity of modern building methods. The walls of each home are engineered and built to exceed national building codes, in one of our state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. Each wall features precision built 2x6 framed construction with your choice of "planed"(not milled) round log or Appalachian style square timber half-log on the exterior. The final step in wall construction is the installation of quality Pella windows and finishing the log exterior and window trim with 2 coats of the highest quality stain in your color choice. If a customer chooses the "chinked" look exterior log, this is also done during the final stage and then the home package is loaded for delivery to the construction site.

The on-site "weather tight" construction of a Whisper Creek Log Home "shell package" ranges from a mere 4 to 10 days for a typical home. Our customers are amazed at the instant beauty and inherent quality of their dream log home as the "shell" is being constructed. With the solid wall construction home owners also enjoy the added benefit of minimal maintenance with no settling or shrinking of the walls. Each finished home will be insulated to exceedingly high R-values to create arguably the most energy efficient log home on the market! Our lofted homes have great standard features (which are expensive upgrades for other log home companies) such as 10 ft. sidewalls, 24 ft. ceilings and 12-15 inch diameter planed logs and beams. We also have a line of single level rambler style homes with great features, such as spacious, open living spaces, vaulted ceilings, window feature walls, and your choice of 8 ft., 10 ft., 14 ft. or 16 ft. high ceilings!

Whisper Creek offers 28 models ranging in size from 725 to over 6400 sq. ft. We also offer nearly maintenance free "hybrid" homes featuring James Hardie exterior siding, with your choice of traditional round post and beams or square Appalachian Style accent timbers and beams, to achieve a beautiful "Craftsman Style" appeal.
